What can I expect when I come to Northeast?

You can expect the following things when you come to Northeast...

  • A safe place for children and youth to grow spiritually.
  • A relaxed environment to connect with God and with others
  • An environment that expects people to come as they are
  • A worship service that celebrates different styles of worship
  • A time of relevant and creative teaching from the Bible
  • An opportunity to celebrate Christ by taking Communion weekly

Why do you take Communion weekly at Northeast?

We take Communion weekly because it helps us to remember and celebrate what Jesus Christ has done for us.  1 Corinthians 11 23-26 provides an understanding of the significance of why we take communion and what it represents.

How can I get connected at Northeast?

Some of the best ways to get connected at Northeast is to...

  • Worship with us on Sunday mornings

  • Utilize your talents and passions to serve in a ministry area
  • Look for ways to grow spiritually (ex. Sunday School classes, Discipleship relationships)
  • Be involved in outreach events as we look to connect with our neighborhoods

If you are interested in making Northeast your church home, please join us at a Welcome To Northeast Lunch.  Here you will get to meet the staff, the elders, and have an opportunity to learn more about Northeast.

How do I begin a relationship with Christ?

As you look to begin a relationship with Christ, its important to look at what the Bible has to say about our need for Christ.

1. Man sinned and because of that sin, was separated from God. Romans 3:23
2. The punishment for sin was death, but Jesus was the gift of life. Romans 6:23
3. Because of Jesus, we are able to be restored into a right relationship with God. Romans 3:22-24 and Romans 5:17
4. We can be saved from death and forgiven of our sins. Romans 10:9-10
